Flying... to my second hometown | Voando... para a minha segunda cidade

I Love Porto, and I love my country Portugal, it's in my blood, it is in my heart.
In this times we see a lot of friends going away because they have to, because they invested time and money in a graduation, in our country, and as they finish it and want to enter in the world of the work... they are literally expelled from the country that saw them born and growing, and are thrown to a strange place that for years or even forever will become their home.
I'm not gonna lie, me and my husband (my boyfriend on that time) thought a lot of doing the same thing that a lot of others did, but we choose to stay... we hope we wont be forced to go too, but if that happens, we are very sure about the place we would like to live... our second home... where not even talking the same language, we never felt "a fish out of water"... that's obvious that having family living there helps a lot, but I really mean it when I say that we were really velkommen (welcome) there... this city is Oslo, capital of Norway.
That's obvious that the climate is not like ours... it's much more colder and darker during the winter, and a bit colder on the summer but much more brighter too...
I had the sense that here we don't work to live, we live to work!!! There is exactly the opposite!!! They don't care if you ride a bicycle or a Ferrari, they don't care if you wear HM or Prada, they live as they want to live! And don't think that they don't buy because they can't! No, it's their option! They live as they want without being judged!!! You can see a lawyer in his suit riding a bicycle to his work! That's the most common thing in the world (not like in Portugal, of course!).
No one throws garbage to the floor because the streets are property of everyone! The people take care of their gardens, they don't wait for the neighbor to do it.... It's a whole different state of mind... but I'm not going to bother you more with my ideas... I want you to see what I'm talking about with your own eyes... A little sample of a beginning of a summer in Oslo.

Eu amo o Porto, e amo o meu país Portugal, está-me no sangue, está no meu coração.

With love...

Crushing for some black boots

IPhone Cases

I'm a very addicted IPhone person, maybe because, as you know, I'm an architect, and the IPhone facilitates very much my life.
And lots of you are maybe thinking that there are already other brands that have smartphones that have the same programs that the IPhone, but for me, an IPhone is an IPhone, and I think that in my case, hardly there's a coming back.
So now, I have the IPhone 5, and yes, I know that they have already launched the IPhone 5S and 5C, but I'm not that obsessed about having every single model that is launched. And as I was saying, this time I was going for a simple IPhone case, a white one that would be very well and discrete with my white IPhone 5, and I really bought one but, one week later.... BAAANNNG... the insanity of the world of the IPhone cases took care, and I lost my mind again, and yes, by meaning again, I wanna say that for the third time I bought a Rabito Iphone case, this time a silver one. I felt in love for the gold one, but went for the silver.

You can find them all in: http://www.tamtokki.com

But this issue doesn't end here... there's a whole bunch of cute IPhone cases, all around the web. I've already had the Gennarino and the Luisa from Moschino for my IPhone 4S, and I can tell you that the Gennarino is really a good choice, but Luisa, unfortunately is not that practical because of her "big ass", the volume is to much and you can't stand your IPhone lying right on a surface.
Now Moschino is launching 2 new characters that I'm very excited to see... Violetta and Agostino, specially Violetta...

You can find them all in: http://www.moschino.com

And last but not the least... the one inspired on "Chanel Minaudière", known as Chanel Lego Clutch.
I'm completely against imitations, and I'm against my moral to buy anything that is counterfeiting. As I always say, I prefer to not have something than to have a counterfeiting piece of something. In this case, I don't know if this is considered a counterfeiting piece because Chanel didn't create this piece at all, only created the clutch, that someone adapted to a IPhone case... But apart from that, I really think that the case is really really cute! And you can already see them in the IPhones of lots of great bloggers.
Let me know what you think about that!

You can find them on the Amazon and on the Ebay, just look for "IPhone Lego Case"

Hope you enjoyed this article...

A new life, a new beginning... Uma nova vida, um novo começo...

A new life, a new beginning...

After so much time, I'm now picking the blog that was almost dead to write a little bit of everything... of architecture, design, traveling, fashion and a little bit of my life and all the projects i'm working on... Hope you enjoy it!!!
